Spirit School Press is a small-scale design, publishing, and distribution platform that focuses primarily on zines, art books, and creative formatting as a way to story-share works of individual journeys toward flourishing, liberation, and Becoming.

A year of searching for gratitude amidst the mundane, the magical, the obvious and the hidden.

Toward the Tension is theme of the road trip I took across in the United States landscape the summer after my separation in 2017. 8,000 miles; 40 days; 1 self on a journey of excavation, discovery, transformation. A project foundational to my Being.

Kaleidoscopic: Notes on Expanding Love is a short book of essays exploring consciously and intentionally stepping into a new orientation to relational structures. Written in the spring of 2022, the essays have been incubating since then and hope to enter published form in 2025!

Process / Practice

I’m in a season of reawakening and relearning how to use my voice. After a long season of retreating into the cocoon of Self (big hermit mode), I’m reintegrating into Community in all its complexity. My creative rituals are shaky at the moment, but enjoying the sun and moving my body are reminding me of the way that generative energy emanates, warms, inspires, and opens us up to sharing the wisdom of our experiences with others.
